It's a Privileged Life

Are you a Rose?

Or a Sage?

I was ECSTATIC to here from Rachel Kamerman, the production designer of Privileged!! She kindly shared some details about Rose and Sage's glamorous bedroom

The bed is custom-made through Grace Home Furnishings in Brentwood. The fabric used for the bedding is Poppea by Silk Trading Company and is $195 a yard. She chose the chocolate/turquoise for Rose and the pink/chartreuse for Sage. You can order the fabric here.

Very interesting! I watch this show on occasion, and have admired the beds. It makes sense that they are from Grace - it reminds me of their ads.

Ok, so I was totally just excited, until i researched how many yards you need to make a duvet, about 8 for a Queen and 10 for a king? Almost $2000!!!! There is no way I can afford this as a recent grad in this failing economy, sigh :( I guess a girl can dream .....

Anon - That is crazy expensive. So why not make throw pillows out of it for your bed instead? You only need one yard for a 20 inch pillow.

I started watching Privileged from the very first show and I was IN LOVE with all of the set design, the orchids everywhere really caught my eye. I recently renovated my "childhood" bedroom and tried to mimic the feel of the Baker twins' room, I'm so sad they changed the room design in the finale, but the new rooms look awesome too! One question begs an answer, what DID they do with those duvets?!
