Forget 90210.....It's all about "Privileged"

So what if I'm turning 30 in a couple of months, does that mean I can't like a show written for teenagers? I think Privileged on the CW is not only entertaining, but full of fun decor. Most noteworthy is the twin's, Sage (loving that name) and Rose, room. I love the Hollywood meets Palm Beach decor, so up my ally. If you haven't already watched it in secret, check it out next Tuesday night! It's basically the new Gilmore Girls....... for lack of a better comparison.

The first thing that grabbed my attention were the headboards, I couldn't find a shot of both beds, but you get the idea....

For a similar look, try the Newport bed by William-Sonoma Home

I also love the desk/closet area.....

What about the duvet on the bed, any ideas on where to find that pink pattern?

totally love the headboards although I still am a GG girl and don't have room for anymore drama of the rexy teen persuasion, ha

Anon- Not sure about the duvet on the bed, but I would bet you could find a pattern like that pretty easily. JC- I am a GG girl hands down if I had to go with one over the other, but my tv watching this Fall is out of control. Between my Bravo shows, GG, Privileged, Hills, Entourage, it is really out of hand.

i haven't seen this show yet. i wonder how these shows--gossip girl, 90210, privileged- will fare with this economy? will people be turned off by the excess or will it be a guilty pleasure. sorry to go off on something so serious!

congrats on your mom's country living mag placement... i love the kitchen...so warm and inviting.

hi all...
one of my staff just clued me in to this blog.
i'm the production designer of privileged...
the headboards we used in the girls' room this season were mirror trimmed and from grace home. the duvet fabric was from silk trading company... 323.954.9280,
pattern "poppea"... pink/chartreuse (#V1227) was the pink version. keep watching privileged... stay tuned for a few design surprises in our season one finale!

best,
rachel kamerman

do you know where i could get that pink and green comforter?

Jessica - The fabric is Poppea by Silk Trading Company. You will have to order the fabric and have the duvet custom made.

Hi all! I see that Rachel the set designer responded to the many questions asking about the bedding, but I am actually trying to find out where Sage's bedding comes from. If anyone knows the answer to this it would be a great help! thanks

My daughter wanted the silk bedding fabric from the show privileged also. But since she is not "priviliged" to have a mom who is wealthy enough to spend $195/yard, we came up with an alternative that was just as nice and less expensive. Here in CA, there are warehouse fabric stores called Home Fabrics (homefabricsonline.com), she found fabrics that were so close in color and design as those found on the show, that she had a hard time choosing, so she went with a hot pink-red floral, and added contrast with an irridescent aqua blue. Each store has many of the same fabrics, but the one in Modesto, CA had even more since it is a bigger store. A bonus, all fabrics are under $20 a yard (our picks were $5, $6, and $10/yard). For a small fee, they can have fabric sent to your home address if they don't have enough in the store. We will being sewing lots of cool bedding, curatains and tufting headboards soon.

Hope this helps : )

I found the bedding but its $300 a yard and for a twin size duvet cover you need 11 yards so its like $3,300 for a duvet.

rachel kamerman-
First of all, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE GIRLS BEDROOM THEME AND DECOR!
But, when the season finale came on and I saw that the bedroom had been changed i was very sad, but pleased because it still looks brilliant if more, but what happened to the girl’s old bedframes, headboards, duvets…? I know where to get it myself but the price is quite heafty for $2,000 a duvet and then you have to sew it yourself and hope to god it won't be screwed up. I would be MORE THAN HAPPY to take them off your hands at a price! At least one set (bed wise) :)
